3 Day First Aid at Work

Our accredited First Aid at Work Course is our comprehensive First Aid training course and is delivered in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

The training is delivered over the course of 3 days with delegates being continually assessed and a certificate awarded upon successful completion. We provide this course both in-house, on-site and as blended learning options, although we recommend the in-house option as it cheaper for you, and the training can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of each workplace!

Areas Covered:
• Course introduction.
• Legal compliance.
• Managing incidents.
• Examining a casualty.
• Conscious/unconscious casualties.
• Treating a casualty.
• Further emergency action.
• General common illnesses.
• Basic life support.
• First aid kits/equipment.
• Recording/reporting injuries.

What do I gain with this qualification?
All of our courses ensure that you meet recommendations underlined by the HSE and also provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to use what you have learned in a real emergency situation.

How is the course delivered?
Our training is available both in-house and as open courses. Our open courses are great for individual delegates, but if you have a group of people that need training, our on site courses will be a much more cost-effective option for you. One of the options to further help you with resourcing is the blended learning so delegates can use online learning and then attend the practical elements of the course.
